PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide):
It is a thermoplastic crystalline polymer with a maximum crystallinity of 65%, making it the leading high-temperature engineering plastic. Pure resin is a white/coffee-colored material, which is difficult to process due to its high viscosity
If it is fluid and cannot be injection molded, injection-grade PPS can be obtained by adding fillers and modifiers for modification.
There are two types: cross-linked (branched structure) and linear (linear structure). Cross-linked resins are brittle, have good heat resistance and creep resistance, and can be directly extruded and granulated into plastics. Linear resins have high relative molecular mass, excellent toughness and extensibility, further improved comprehensive performance, and better processing performance.
Heat resistance: The melting point exceeds 280℃, the heat distortion temperature under a load of 1.8MPa is above 260℃, and the long-term use temperature is 220-240℃
PPS characteristics:
Processing performance: Good fluidity, suitable for various processing methods; after fiber reinforcement, it can still be injection molded into complex thin-walled parts
Flame retardancy: It can achieve UL94-V0 and 5VA levels (no drips) without the need to add flame retardants, and produces low smoke during combustion
-Mechanical properties: After being reinforced with glass fiber or carbon fiber, or filled with minerals, the strength and rigidity are doubled, and it exhibits excellent creep resistance and fatigue resistance
Chemical resistance: second only to polytetrafluoroethylene, it is insoluble in any organic solvents below 200℃ (except for strong oxidizing acids); it exhibits strong resistance to inorganic acids, alkalis, and salts, and is very stable to various types of radiation
-Dimensional stability: After lamination, the molding shrinkage rate is low, less than 0.0025%, and the absorption rate is less than 0.05%. The linear thermal expansion coefficient is small, and it still exhibits good dimensional stability under high temperature and high humidity conditions

PPA (polyphthalamide):
A semi-crystalline, thermoplastic aromatic polyamide, commonly known as aromatic high-temperature nylon, can withstand long-term operating temperatures up to 180℃ and short-term temperatures up to 290℃. The aromatic component in the molecular structure of PPA ensures that parts made from PPA exhibit excellent performance in terms of heat, electricity, physical properties, and chemical resistance, particularly maintaining high strength and excellent dimensional stability under high-temperature conditions.
Advantages of PPA:
PPA plastics also exhibit superior surface glossiness. They can be colored without the need for surface coating, which helps reduce the visibility of surface scratches and marks.

PEI (Polyetherimide):
PEI plastic is an amorphous thermoplastic polyetherimide, combining high performance with excellent processing characteristics. It exhibits high temperature resistance, along with high strength, modulus, and a wide range of chemical resistance.

PA46 (polyhexamethylene adipamide):
PA46 is formed through the polycondensation of 1,4-diaminobutane (also known as butanediamine, abbreviated as DAB) and adipic acid. Its molecular structure is highly symmetrical, endowing it with characteristics such as high melting point, high crystallinity, high strength, strong rigidity, as well as resistance to high temperatures, fatigue, and wear. Additionally, it boasts a short molding cycle, making processing more economical.
Compared to PA6 and PA66, PA46 has a melting point of around 300℃, which is 40℃ higher than that of PA66 and 80℃ higher than that of PA6. Its melting point is the highest among all nylon resins. Its comprehensive performance surpasses most competing products, such as PA6, PA66, PPA, and PPS. Its wear resistance can even reach 7 times that of PA66.
Compared with other industrialized high-temperature resistant nylons (nylon engineering plastics that can be used at temperatures above 150°C for extended periods), such as PA6T and PA9T, PA46 possesses excellent characteristics that give it significant advantages in terms of cost reduction, extended service life, and reliability.
In terms of ease of processing and design, PA46 also exhibits similar performance to high-temperature resins such as LCP, PPS, and PEEK.

PA9T (poly(p-phenylene terephthalamide)):
The main advantages include:
It can achieve the 94V-0 effect at a thickness of 0.75mm
Easy to process: good fluidity, thermal stability, and low mold corrosion;
High lubricity: Its wear resistance and friction coefficient are significantly better than other nylons, even surpassing POM and LCP
Low water absorption rate (1%, compared to over 2.6% for other common high-temperature nylons).
High thermal stability: PA9T, with its high glass transition temperature (125°C) and high crystallinity, maintains good toughness at high temperatures, outperforming PA66 and PA46. It is a low-warpage, high-dimensional stability material.
Another excellent performance of PA9T is its resistance to chemicals, oils, alcohols, acids, calcium chloride, hot water, and other fluids, which surpasses almost all PAs and is only slightly inferior to PPS. Its barrier properties to fuel are ten times that of PA6 and PA12, approaching the level of ETFE (ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer). These excellent properties make PA9T highly suitable for automotive hood products.

PEEK (Polyetheretherketone):
Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) exhibits excellent heat resistance. At 1.8 MPa, its heat distortion temperature is 160°C. When reinforced with 20% to 30% glass fiber, the heat distortion temperature can be increased to 280~330°C. PEEK experiences only a 2% weight loss in air at 420°C for 2 hours, and a 2.5% weight loss at 500°C. The long-term use temperature of modified PEEK is approximately 260-300°C.
Polyetheretherketone exhibits excellent electrical insulation properties, with a volume resistivity of approximately 10^10 Ω·cm. It maintains a low dielectric constant and dielectric loss within the high-frequency range. For instance, at 10 Hz and room temperature, its dielectric constant is merely 3.2, and its dielectric loss is only 0.02.
Polyetheretherketone exhibits excellent chemical stability, being highly resistant to almost all chemical reagents except concentrated sulfuric acid, and maintaining good chemical stability even at elevated temperatures. Furthermore, it possesses exceptional resistance to hot water and steam, allowing for prolonged use in steam at temperatures ranging from 200 to 250 ℃.
Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) exhibits excellent flame retardancy, making it difficult to ignite under typical conditions. Even if it does ignite, the amount of smoke and harmful gas released is very low, even lower than that of low-smoke polymers such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) exhibits excellent radiation resistance. Its resistance to alpha, beta, and gamma rays is currently the best among polymer materials. Wire products coated with PEEK can withstand 1.1×10 Gy of gamma rays.
Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) exhibits good melt flowability and thermal stability above its melting point (343°C). As a result, it possesses typical molding processability of thermoplastics, allowing for various forming methods such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and lamination, as well as spinning and film making. Although the melting processing temperature range of PEEK is 360~400°C, its thermal decomposition temperature is above 520°C, thus providing a wide processing temperature range.
